Over 800,000 people die by suicide every year. That means we lose someone to suicide every 40 seconds. Millions of people need access to therapy, community, and live chat resources, but rarely ever find them or are able to afford them.

We are able to offer individuals access to free therapy through our exclusive partnership with BetterHelp, and since 2021, we have trained over 19,500 people to stop suicide through our ACT Suicide Prevention Training. We also build content that reaches millions, such as our QB United World Suicide Prevention Day campaign with over 55 NFL Quarterbacks joining us to create a “Stay Here” PSA video.

The 40

The 40 is a collective group of nonprofits, companies, and individuals who have linked arms to change statistics and save lives. Currently, someone dies by suicide every 40 seconds. But we believe we can change that, together. Stay Here also collaborates with many of The 40 throughout each year with campaigns and events to raise mental health awareness.

Joining The 40 directly impacts the world. The 40 help save over 12,000 lives a year with documented canceled suicide plans.

To join The 40, we ask for a minimum donation of $1,000 a month, or a $10,000 annual donation.
