Dear potential church partner,

Every 40 seconds, someone in this world dies by suicide. But together, on World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10th 2023), we will save countless lives and reach millions with a unified message of hope.


WHAT’S THE IMPACT?

In partnership with NFL Quarterbacks through QB United, and a robust influencer network, we are projecting to reach over 250 million people with a message of hope and provide an estimated 100,000 people with suicide prevention training, live chat support, and free counseling resources all on www.worldsuicidepreventionday.com / www.qbunited.org

OUR GOALS

– We are working with over 50 former and current NFL Quarterbacks, as well as other athletes, artists, and influencers to create life saving video content with a message to STAY HERE.

– Connect with 200 prominent social media influencers and 100,000+ individuals to post this video on Sept 10, 2023 (World Suicide Prevention Day).

– Partner with the top 4 Nonprofit Suicide Prevention Organizations to provide live chat and counseling options. (988 Suicide Prevention Lifeline, BetterHelp, Crisis Text Line, TheHopeLine).

– Provide prevention training to businesses, churches, schools and individuals to have conversations with people struggling with suicidal thoughts

– Find 1000 churches to participate in a prayer/giving moment on September 10th, aimed at raising awareness for this campaign and fostering church partnership.  

THIS IS WHERE OUR CHURCH PARTNERS COME IN!

This is a movement of God to save lives and we believe that the local church is the hope of the world; which is why we want the church to lead the way all over the world on Sept 10th!

THIS IS THE ASK: (You can choose how many of these options you would like to participate in).

  • Play the Stay Here quarterback video at your church on Sunday, September 10th. (When you sign up below, we will send you a password protected link to the video).

  • Invite your church to participate in the 40 for 40 initiative for World Suicide Prevention Day (every 40 seconds someone dies by suicide, let’s change that through prayer, and action). Here’s how:

    • Pray: Pray together for 40 seconds. Take a moment as a church to pray that God would save souls on this day, and intervene for anyone who is planning on taking their own life.

    • Giving: Our goal is to find 1,000 people to give $40 a month. This would help Stay Here make our annual budget, and would set us up to build an even greater World Suicide Prevention Campaign for 2024.
